Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)
① The Company posts these Terms on the start screen or the settings screen of the Service so that users can check them at any time.
② The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws.
③ When amending the Terms, the Company announces the changes and the effective date as follows.
| Nature of the amendment | How it is announced |

| General amendments | In-app notice from 7 days before the effective date |
| Amendments unfavorable to users | In-app notice from 30 days before the effective date |
The Company announces amendments through in-app notices or by posting them on the Service's screens, and does not notify each user individually.
④ If the Company, when announcing amended Terms under Paragraph ③, clearly states that "not expressing refusal by the effective date will be deemed consent," and a user does not express refusal, the user is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
⑤ Users have the right not to agree to amended Terms, and in that case may terminate the service agreement.
Article 4 (Age of Users)
① The Service may be used only by persons aged 18 or older.
② By agreeing to these Terms when starting to use the Service, users confirm that they are 18 or older.
③ If the Company learns that a person under 18 has used the Service by misstating their age, the Company will stop that use and destroy the related data without delay.
Article 5 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
① The service agreement is formed when a user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and the Company accepts this.
② Guests — The service agreement is formed when the user agrees to the Terms and the Privacy Policy on the Service's start screen (which includes confirming that they are 18 or older) and starts using the Service.
③ Members — After the service agreement has been formed as a guest, the user becomes a member when they complete signing in with a Google or Apple account.

③ As a rule, each user holds only one account.
④ Users may not transfer or lend their account to another person.
Article 7 (Content of the Service)
① The Company provides the following services.
- The Korean Level Test and its Test Result
- Guidance on a learning path based on the Test Result
- Korean learning content
- Viewing learning progress and status
- Member profiles (display name and profile photo)
- Weekly rankings among members

④ Members take part in the weekly ranking automatically, and their display name, rank, score, progress and accuracy rate are shown to other members in the same ranking group. Profile photos are not shown to other members. Display names can be changed at any time in "My info".
Article 8 (Nature of the Test Result)
This Article contains information users must understand.
① The Level Test is a learning tool designed by the Company and is not the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK). The Company has no relationship with the organization that administers TOPIK.
② Expressions shown in the Test Result such as "TOPIK level 1" or "TOPIK level 2" are reference indications to guide the learning path, and do not recognize or guarantee an actual TOPIK level.
③ The Test Result may not be used for the following purposes.
- Official proof of language ability
- Documents submitted for visas, study abroad, employment or admission
- Any other proof that has official effect
④ The Company does not guarantee that the Test Result matches the user's actual Korean ability. The Level Test is taken in a short time with a limited number of questions, so it may contain errors.
⑤ Even if users study through the Service, the Company does not guarantee any particular outcome, such as passing TOPIK, a higher score, employment or study abroad.
Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights in the Content)
① Intellectual property rights in the Content included in the Service, including copyright, belong to the Company or the rightful holder.

③ Users may not do any of the following without the Company's prior written consent.
- Reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute or broadcast the Content
- Create derivative works from the Content, or edit it for use
- Use the Content for commercial purposes
④ Leaking Level Test questions is prohibited. Users may not photograph, record or copy Level Test questions and answers to publish or share them outside the Service. If the questions are known in advance, the Level Test cannot work as intended and other users would be assigned the wrong learning path.

- Use a display name or profile photo that infringes others' rights, is misleading, is obscene or insulting, or violates the law
- Any other act that violates applicable laws or these Terms
② If a user violates Paragraph ①, the Company may restrict the user's use of the Service and will notify the user through an in-app message or email.
③ Users may object to a restriction through the contact details in Article 16. If the Company finds the objection justified, it will lift the restriction.
④ If a display name or profile photo violates Paragraph ①, the Company may change the display name to the default or delete the profile photo.

① The Company may change the content of the Service or suspend part of it. Changes or suspensions that significantly affect users' rights are announced in advance; feature improvements and minor changes may be made without separate notice.
② The Company may temporarily suspend the Service in the following cases.
- System inspection, maintenance or replacement is needed
- Unavoidable events occur, such as power outages, equipment failures or network outages
- Force majeure occurs, such as natural disasters or a national emergency
③ When suspending the Service under Paragraph ②, the Company announces it in advance where possible, and afterwards where advance notice is not possible.

Article 13 (Retention and Transfer of Guest Records)
① A guest's Test Result is kept for the period set by the Privacy Policy (currently 30 days from collection).

- The app was deleted and reinstalled
- The account was created on a different device
④ For details, see Articles 4 and 8 of the Privacy Policy.
Article 14 (Limitation of Liability)
① The Company provides the Service as it is and, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, does not guarantee that the Service will be provided without interruption or free of errors.
② The Company is not liable for damage arising from the following causes. However, this does not apply where the Company acted intentionally or negligently.
- The Service cannot be provided because of force majeure, such as natural disasters or war
- The cause lies in the user's device or network environment
- The damage arises because the user did not manage their account information
- The damage arises from a failure of a service provided by a third party (Google or Apple sign-in, app stores and the like)
③ The Company is not liable for decisions users make in reliance on the Test Result or learning content, or for their consequences. The nature of the Test Result is as set out in Article 8.
④ This Article does not limit any liability of the Company that cannot be excluded under applicable laws. In particular, where the consumer protection laws of the user's country of residence set out the Company's liability, those laws prevail.
Article 15 (Protection of Personal Data)
